Directions to use Volatatia to make calls if a LEP (limited English proficient):

WHEN PLACING A CALL:

1. Dial: 1-423-919-9525.  

2.  
Enter on your telephone keypad or provide the representative:

  • Press 1 for Spanish.
  • Press 2 for all other languages, and speak the name of the language you need or enter the language ID found on table below at the prompt.
  • ENTER ACCESS CODE FOR TENNESSEE HIGH (61506)
  • An Interpreter will be connected to the call.

3. Brief the Interpreter. Summarize what you wish to accomplish, and give any special instructions.

  • ADD THE LEP (limited English proficient) individual to the line.
  • Say "End of Call" to the interpreter when the call is completed.

WHEN RECEIVING A CALL:

  • Use Conference Hold to place the Limited English speaker on hold.
  • Follow Steps 1 through 4 as outlined above.
