Summer Reading and Library Summer Hours

THS is throwing a Summer Reading Celebration to reward students who complete the reading over the summer. An assessment will be given to all students, those scheduled for English in the fall and spring semester, at the start of school in August to determine attendance eligibility.

Dollar General Literacy Foundation
Library Receives DG Literacy Grant

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation recently awarded Tennessee High School a $1500 grant to support youth literacy. This grant is part of more than $3.4 million the organization awarded to 915 recipients on August 28, 2018.

There will be an optional student day on Jan. 21, 2019. BUS TRANSPORTATION WILL BE OFFERED TO AND FROM SCHOOL FOR FULL DAY PARTICIPANTS ONLY. THE DEADLINE TO BE INCLUDED FOR BUS TRANSPORTATION IS JANUARY 16TH. STUDENTS WHO TURN THE FORM IN AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION.
