Vining of the MVB Excels at State Level
Tennessee High School sophomore, Shelby Vining, made 4th chair alto saxophone in the 9th/10th grade All-State Band, placing her among the top high school saxophonists in the state. This exceptional achievement highlights Shelby’s outstanding musical talent and dedication.

Our MVB Wins Prestigious Statewide Award
Tennessee High’s Mighty Viking Band was presented with the esteemed 2022/2023 Tennessee Bandmasters Sweepstakes Award at the 2024 Tennessee Music Education Association state conference in Nashville this past weekend. This accolade recognizes superior performance across both marching and concert band disciplines, underscoring the band's dedication to musical excellence.

Viking Robotics Awarded TVA Grant
THS Robotics was recently chosen as one of 343 schools in Tennessee to receive a grant from TVA and BVI. These grants are intended to develop science, technology, engineering, and math education programs for students that will inspire interest in STEM-related fields.
