Posted on 12/11/2023

Congratulations to Mrs. Amber Davis, who was recently chosen by her peers as the 2023-24 Tennessee High School Teacher of the Year.

Spending most of her childhood growing up in Orlando (even working briefly at Disney), Mrs. Davis returned to the Bristol area with her husband to raise her two boys, Jacob and Aiden. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Theatre and Secondary Education from King University and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Union College. Mrs. Davis is currently in her tenth year of teaching at THS. During her time at THS, she has taught Theatre Arts I, II, & III and English I.  In addition to her teaching duties, she has successfully led our student in many plays and musicals, including Xanadu, Ranked, Back to the 80s, and All Shook Up. She is currently preparing for the spring musical, The Addams Family.

Congratulations, Mrs. Davis! We are lucky to have you!
