Fall AP Exam Registration Deadline is Friday, November 12! Students currently taking an AP course need to sign in to My AP using their College Board account and confirm their exam registration for each of their AP courses. Students who do not join the online class section and confirm exam registration will not be eligible to test in May 2022. Students enrolled in AP courses offered at THS students have the opportunity to take the corresponding AP exam free of charge; however, students will be charged a $40.00 fee for each late exam registration and a $40.00 fee for each canceled/unused exam. Each student is responsible for updating their exam status(es) for all fall AP courses by Friday, November 12, 2021. Exam Registrations for Spring AP Courses will take place in January 2022.
Attention Seniors: Holly Help Spay and Neuter Fund is currently seeking students who need to complete community service hours. Interested students should reach out to the Holly Help Spay and Neuter Fund Facebook page and send them a message with your name and phone number indicating your interest. You can also see your school counselor for more information.
Basketball Student Section T-Shirt “Maroon Crew” Cost: $12
Every student section in our conference will wear their school T-Shirt to all conference games. If you wear your T-Shirt to away conference games you will be able to get in the game for $2. This is a way for each school to show school spirit and pride. Shirts will be sold during all 3 lunches at THS, in the Cafeteria, starting October 25th and running until November 15th. All students who would like to buy a shirt are encouraged to do so.
Rachel’s Challenge WILL BE MEETING DURING VIKING TIME in the cafeteria on the following five dates, Thursdays: October 21, 28 & November 3, 10, 17 No meetings will occur during December due to the loss of Viking Time during EOC testing and final exams.
Attention all current high achieving 10th and 11th grade students: The Tennessee Governor's Schools applications are now available. Governor’s School provides eleven challenging and high-intensity programs for rising 11th and 12th grade students over summer break. Students interested in participating in a Governor's School should obtain the application from THS school counselor, Leslie Skeens. Applications, and submission information will be posted on the webpages of each individual Governor’s Schools site. Art Governor School applications are due to Mrs. Skeens prior to Thanksgiving break and all other Governor School applications are due prior to Christmas break.
Anime Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the library.

The deadline to fill out the FAFSA and stay eligible for TN Promise is February 1st, 2022. However, fill out the FAFSA as soon as you can to ensure you receive any federal aid or scholarships you might qualify for. See your THS counselor if you need help.
Volunteer Opportunity: The YWCA is seeking student volunteers to work the Turkey Trot 5K on November 20th. Interested students should email [email protected] for more information.
