The Tennessee High School Mighty Viking Band is proud to be celebrating its 76th year of marching and musical excellence. The band was honored to represent the state of Tennessee as part of the Washington, D.C. Independence Day Parade this past July. This season’s show, titled “The Gathering Sky,” is
a musical and visual interpretation of the many images which can be seen
in the sky between sunrise and sunset. From a clear summer morning to
an afternoon thunderstorm to a crisp, clear evening, the music of Pat
Metheny leads us from one scene to the next in this musical and visual
presentation. This year’s show is one you are sure to enjoy.
