Our summer reading camp could use some volunteers to help support our young learners as they grow as readers & writers.
Volunteers are needed to assist small groups under the direction of teachers, listen to children read, and share their writing.

Camp hours are Monday - Thursday

from 8:00 - 1:00 during June
at Fairmount Elementary School

Contact Michelle Poole at poolem@btcs.org to sign up to volunteer.

Attention Seniors, the end of the school year is fast upon us. With it comes several milestones and special events, including Class Night.
Here's some information regarding Class Night, in case you have any questions about this upcoming event.

What is Class Night?

Tennessee High School's strong sense of tradition has been a source of pride since the earliest days of the school. One of the oldest and most
treasured traditions at Tennessee High is Class Night. Just as the school is unique in that it is the only high school in the state that bears the name
"Tennessee," it is also unique in that it is the only school which celebrates the traditional "Class Night" ceremony. Class Night is the formal ceremony
during which the "senior authority," the symbols and traditions of the school, are passed down to the juniors from the graduating seniors. On that night,
the shield, which represents the honor of the school, and the axes, which represent strength and power, are passed on to the new senior class.

When is Class Night?

Class night for the Class of 2018 will be Friday, May 11, 2018.

What do I need to do to prepare for Class Night?

1. If you're receiving a scholarship or award, you need to complete the Class Night Recognition Form available in the THS Counseling Office
and turn it in to the Counseling Office by April 25, 2018.

2. Plan your outfit/attire.
