Coach Stone chose Liberty University over a number of other Division 1 offers and helped the Flames reach the Sweet 16 as a freshmen. She went on to play 4 seasons with the Flames and clinch a record 10 straight Big South Conference titles. She was selected as Second Team Big South All-Conference at Guard as a Senior and was an Academic All-Conference selection multiple years.

After her playing career Coach Stone was a Graduate Assistant on the Lady Flames coaching staff. She then went on to coach Westview Middle School in Morristown, TN to an undefeated season in 2009-2010 before returning to Tennessee High as an assistant in 2010.
