  • Retakes for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, faculty, staff, and administration will be Sept 21. If students want to purchase a package, they may order online using the code AA508009Y1 or by picking up an ordering envelope in the guidance office. If a student had previously ordered a package and desires a retake, he or she will need to return the package to the photographer in order to avoid the sitting fee. This is the last chance to appear in the yearbook. 
  • WELCOME!  Welcome!  Please come to Wellness room 2447 every Wednesday morning from 7:00 – 7:15 a.m. for an encouraging club meeting:  First Priority.  All are WELCOME!  Yes, that’s you.  (We often serve food, too.)
  • Invitations to Beta Club were mailed to students’ home addresses Wednesday, August 29th. Juniors and seniors (who didn’t join last year) with above a 93 average were invited to join.  If you have not received an invite and you believe you should, please stop by the library and see Mrs. Sauceman or Ms. Hayes.
  • Civinettes is now accepting applications for any sophomore, junior, or senior female interested in joining but missed the opportunity to do so in the spring. Applications can be found in the new front office. Applications will be accepted until September 11th. 
  • The THS Cheerleaders will begin selling the VT Game T-shirts during all 3 lunches on Thursday August 30th. They will sell on Friday August 31st, Wednesday September 5th, Thursday September 6th and Friday September 7th until sold out. Shirts are $10. 
  • Senior ads are due  to Mrs. Vickers (3432) or to Jostens.com by Sept 7. Students  who need  senior ad information may pick it up in the guidance office. Please see Mrs. Vickers if you have any questions.
  • The LEAPs after-school program is now open for students!  Hours of operation are from 2:30 PM-5:30 PM daily.  Students should report to the Wellness room (#2447) and report to Mr. Andrew Cross.  THS will offer several after-school activities/clubs that are available to students through the LEAPs grant.  Starting dates and further information for those actives and clubs will be given at a later date.  If interested in joining an after-school activity or club, please contact with Mr. Andrew Cross for further details.
  • Edgemont Tower is in need of volunteers to do small jobs around the building.  If interested please call Edgemont Tower office at 423-797-4451 and ask for Donna.  This is a great way to get community hours.
  • ACT ACADEMY by Mrs. Sutherland  will be on WONDERFUL Wednesdays in the THS Library after school from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. We will PRACTICE ACT questions and discuss all things ACT.  (It used to be on Thursdays, but it’s now Wednesdays to permit percussion and THS band to come….so show up!). 
  • ACT Prep Camp:   Tuesday, Sept. 4, 3:00 to 5:00 PM (Everhardt, Wood) Wednesday, Sept. 5, 6:00 to 8:00 PM (Everhardt, Wood) Thursday, Sept. 6, 6:00 to 8:00PM (Everhardt, Sutherland,)
  • ACT Test is on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018.
  • Anyone interested in Wrestling needs to meet for Pre-season Wrestling Practice Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 2:45 at the Coach’s Office.  Beginner wrestlers are welcome.  
  • Students may still order photos online using the code AA508009Y0. 
  • The Marsh Regional Blood Drive will be held at Tennessee High School on September 14, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  The sign-up sheet will be located in the Guidance Office along with a letter that must be signed by a parent or guardian.  No one will be allowed to give blood unless the permission slip is signed and returned.
