Digital learners who had their photos made in Sept. will need to stop by the office to pick up photos or photo packet.

Digital learners (freshmen-juniors) who desire to have their photo made or who need a retake should come during homeroom (10:20-11:05) on Oct. 29.  Students will need to enter the main office, have a temperature check, and wear a mask.

Underclassmen (freshmen-juniors), faculty, staff, and administration retakes will be Oct. 29.  Students who purchased a package and who desire a retake should return the package to the photographer.  Students who wish to order packages may pick up an ordering envelope in the main office.

Anyone interested in joining the Interact Club this year needs to email Mrs. DeClercq ( or Mrs. Arnold ( by next Friday 10/23! Returning members that wish to stay in club need to let Mrs. DeClercq or Mrs. Arnold know as well.  The first club meeting will be during homeroom on Monday 10/26, and we will select officers for this school year.

For those interested in participating on the THS Aquavike Swim team this school year, we will have an information meeting on Monday, Oct 26 at 3:30pm, in the pool area.

Wrestling preseason workouts and conditioning will begin on Monday 10/19 and also 10/22. Anyone interested in wrestling who is not playing a fall sport should meet at 2:45 at the wrestling office in Viking Hall. Workouts will be finished by 4pm and Wrestlers can be picked up at THS. Season practice begins on November 2nd. Meet at the wrestling office at 2:45. Practice will end at 5pm and wrestlers can be picked up at the practice facility which is located at 320 Bluff City Hwy (Behind Big Lots)

If anyone is interested in playing, basketball pre-season workouts are going on this week. Please see one of the basketball coaches for more information as soon as possible.

The SCRHD flu shot clinic will be held Monday, Oct. 19 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, for in-person learners who completed the consent form.  These forms were due Sept. 29, and the health department is no longer accepting them.  If yours was not returned in time, you will have to see your doctor or pharmacy for a vaccine.

Remote learners can receive a flu shot on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 9 am to 12:00 pm at the admin building.  Remote students should bring a completed consent form.  It can be printed here: 

Coach Estep would like to invite anyone wanting to dive with the Aquavikes this year to meet at the pool on Thursday, October 15th immediately after school.

There will be a boys soccer interest meeting this Friday (October 16) in the auditorium during homeroom. If you cannot attend, please see Coach Snyder.

Anyone who is interested in playing Girls or Boys Tennis this Spring will meet in Coach Kitzmiller’s room (room #1216) during Viking Time on Friday October 16th.    Open court will start next week on Tuesday and Thurs 3:00-4:30.

FBLA will have an organizational meeting on Thursday, Oct. 15th during Viking Time in Mrs. English's room (2115). In-person learners who are interested should report to her room.  Remote learners should email Mrs. English to let her know they are interested and to be invited to join a Teams meeting.

If the student plans to take clinical internship class next semester, they MUST obtain a copy of proof of the flu vaccine administered when they get it here at school. It is nearly impossible to track down once they leave and months have gone by. They can bring that directly to Mrs. Moore and I will file it away safe until needed next semester.

LEAPs Afterschool Program started up again on Tuesday September 8. 

The upcoming ACT Tests are October 17, 24, & 25, as well as December 12. Therefore, THS will host ACT Boot Camp study nights from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm on the following dates:

Tuesday - Thursday (immediately after fall break) October 13-15

Monday - Thursday, 
October 19 - 22

No boot camps in November (no ACT tests in November)

Monday - Thursday, December 7 - 10

No boot camps in January (no ACT tests in January) 

The location for Boot Camps is now the THS Library. Students should enter through the LEAPS door/wellness door 4 at the front of the school.
