  • Starting this year, all juniors will take the ASVAB career aptitude assessment. The test will be given on Wednesday, October 17, at 7:45 in Viking hall. The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in both military and civilian sectors. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.  The ASVAB is the most extensive career assessment students at Tennessee High will have the opportunity to take. This test opportunity will help to match student abilities with student interests and identify applicable careers.  Although the ASVAB is offered and utilized by the U.S. military, Tennessee High School will not share student scores or information with the military. Students who are interested in the military will have an opportunity share their scores with recruiters. However, this is not required.   Interested seniors need to sign up in the counseling office seating is limited and on a first come basis.
