EOC schedule

Nov. 30 – December 2: English I & English II EOCs

November 30: Students will report to class in the following order: 4, 2, 3, 1. First and Third period English I and English II students will eat 1st lunch.

December 1: No Homeroom Bell Schedule. Students enrolled in a 3rd period English I or English II class will eat 1st lunch.

December 2: Students will report to class in the following order: 4, 2, 3, 1. First and Third period English I and English II students will eat 1st lunch.

December 3: English EOC Makeups in the library at 7:30.

December 6 – 7: Alg. 1, Math 2, and Alg. 2 EOCs

December 6: Students will report to classes in the following order: 2, 4, 3, 1. First and third period Math 2 and Algebra 2 students will eat 1st lunch.

December 7: No Homeroom Bell Schedule. Mrs. Strong’s and Mr. Mooney’s 3rd period classes will eat first lunch.

December 8 – 9: U.S. History EOC

December 8 and December 9: No Homeroom Bell Schedule. Mr. Shanks and Mr. Taylor’s third period will eat first lunch.

December 10: Biology EOC

December 10: No Homeroom Schedule

EOCs will be administered on computers, so don’t forget to charge your laptop the night before each exam!    

 

The first meeting of the Strategy Club will be during homeroom on Tuesday, Nov. 23 in Mr. Greer's alternative classroom.

 

No LEAPS the entire week of 11/22-11/26.

 

Any Beta members who did not receive their pin, certificate, or shirt at last Tuesday’s ceremony should come to the library to pick up these items.

 

Attention all current high achieving 10th and 11th grade students: The Tennessee Governor's Schools applications are now available. Governor’s School provides eleven challenging and high-intensity programs for rising 11th and 12th grade students over summer break. Students interested in participating in a Governor's School should obtain the application from THS school counselor, Leslie Skeens. Applications, and submission information will be posted on the webpages of each individual Governor’s Schools site. Art Governor School applications are due to Mrs. Skeens prior to Thanksgiving break and all other Governor School applications are due prior to Christmas break.

 

Anime Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the library.

 

ATTENTION SENIORS: FAFSA is now open for seniors to fill out for the 2022-2023 school year. Go to: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.

 

Here are some videos to help you fill out the FAFSA: https://www.etsu.edu/financial-aid-and-scholarships/fatv.php. If you plan to go to ANY college/university or TCAT, you MUST fill out the FAFSA. The deadline to fill out the FAFSA and stay eligible for TN Promise is February 1st, 2022. However, fill out the FAFSA as soon as you can to ensure you receive any federal aid or scholarships you might qualify for. See your THS counselor if you need help.
