    1st Period…….9 weeks (midterm) exam (7:30-8:55)
    2nd Period……9 weeks (midterm) exam (9:01-10:34)
    3rd Period……Activity Schedule lunches (10:40-12:34)
    4th Period……Extended for the Talent Show (12:40-2:30)

  • 2020 Spring Intersession will be Tuesday 3/17, Wednesday 3/18, Thursday 3/19. If you plan to attend, please turn in your signed permission slip by Friday 3/13. Deadline to request transportation is today 3/12. This is the same for the optional day on 3/23.

  • Any girl interested in playing soccer next fall at THS needs to drop by Coach Mooney's room this week.

  • Any boy interested in playing boys volleyball, please see Mr. Goodman in room 1140 during Viking Time.

  • There will be NO LEAPS Afterschool Program or library after hours on Friday, March 13.
  • SF1010 – Compulsory Attendance Form for Learner’s Permit:  ALLOW THREE (3) WORKING DAYS TO PROCESS REQUEST.  WE DO NOT FAX TO THE DMV. Complete request form, in the Counseling Office, and return to Counseling Secretary.  You will be informed as to when the form will be ready for pickup. It is your responsibility to pick the form up.  This form only valid for 30 days.
  • Photos for the senior memory video should be submitted to Mrs. English by Spring Break.  Each senior can submit 2 photos (formal yearbook photos are automatically included).  Photos including several senior friends are great!  If you have any group photos from elementary school, those are always fun too!  Mrs. English also needs song suggestions!  Email photos and/or song suggestions to Mrs. English at

  • Reminder: If you are an 18-year-old male and plan to receive any Federal assistance for your post-secondary schooling you must register with Selective Services within 30 days of your 18th birthday. 

  • A fire can break out with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Smoke detectors should be located on every floor of your home and near all places that you and your family sleep. Smoke detector batteries should be changed on a regular basis.

  • Please bring Shoes, gently used, to Mrs. Sutherland in room 3414.  First Priority is sending shoes to ETCHA in Elizabethton.  TENNIS SHOES?  Yes!  Sandals?  Yes!  Kids’ shoes?  Yes!  No high heels, please.  Questions?  Ask Topher Emerine, Corey Smith, Seth Emerine, Logan Smith, Ennelisa Sutton, or any First Priority student…or Mrs. Sutherland.

  • For all the breakfast locations, students can use their meal accounts or by using cash.  You can purchase a breakfast, snack items, drinks, or add funds to your account.   We hope to serve you for Breakfast on the Go!!

  • ACT Boot Camps:  Before the ACT Tuesday, March 31, Juniors only ACT test during school and the Saturday National test on April 4, 2020--camp will be held Wednesday-Thursday & Monday, March 25, 26, & 30, 5:30-7:30 pm. 

  • ACT Boot Camps:  Before the National test on Saturday, April 4, camp will be held Wednesday-Thursday, April 1-2, 5:30-7:30 pm. 

  • ACT Boot Camps:  Before the National test on Saturday, June 13, camp will be held Monday-Thursday, June 8-11, 3 pm – 5 pm daily.
